UPG has equipped a mobile hospital for FRIDA Ukraine missions

Destroyed cities, land burnt by hostile shelling, and broken destinies of people – this is our, Ukrainian, reality in this war for existence and our independence. However, on the other side of evil there is always good, whose strength is in every caring heart.

We repaired and equipped the mobile hospital for volunteer doctors with the necessary equipment, having allocated more than UAH 3.6 million. herefore, even more civilians in the front-line and liberated territories of the country will receive specialized medical care.

“We have been working side by side with FRIDA for almost a year now, I am proud of our cooperation. From each mission, doctors bring real stories of Ukrainians for whom receiving medical care often means living. And every time we asked ourselves, what else we can do for them and for Ukraine. For UPG, the implementation of this project is about the responsibility of business, the opportunity of staying involved, because there is nothing more important than the life, physical and mental health of our people. The unique “mobile clinic” will allow doctors to reach patients in the most remote places, conduct consultations and even perform surgeries. This will expand not only the geography of medical care, but also its scope, as the bus is equipped with high-tech devices for diagnosing diseases, for oncological screening for the early detection of malignant neoplasms. It is expected that more than 100 patients will be able to receive help on spot during the two-day visits. Doctors of 7 specialties will work on board the bus.

For almost a year, we have been working with FRIDA Ukraine to make the reality of civilians on the frontline and liberated territories less painful. Together, we have already managed to bring high-quality medical care to 10 000 Ukrainians, and for this we have already covered hundreds of thousands of kilometers. All this time, we provided fuel for ambulances and other vehicles, having allocated 65 000 liters. And we are still standing by.

We help volunteers arrange field hospitals, and on their way, we treat our friends to delicious lunches and coffee at our gas stations.
