Service without barriers
Inclusiveness and accessibility are an integral part of a harmonious society. This is a basic principle for UPG as well, since for us a modern and thoughtful service means convenience and comfort for each of our guests. That is why new gas stations of the chain, as well as renovated ones, are equipped with:
- wide sliding doors and low edge stones for comfortable entry into the premises of people who move in wheelchair
- tactile information signs and paths for partially sighted people
- special toilets
- separate parking lots
We never stop developing and improving, creating barrier-free conditions for Ukrainians. So, at those facilities where this is not yet fully implemented but technically possible, it will soon be arranged.
“Inclusiveness is an important marker of socially responsible business, especially in the context of war. For us, creating a barrier-free space and equal opportunities for Ukrainians is one of the important manifestations of care, which is in the company’s DNA. And it is not only about disabled people. We also care of the elderly, parents travelling with children and, of course, our smallest customers,” says Kateryna Drobilko, the marketing director of the company.
At UPG, parents travelling with babies can use special changing tables and highchairs for feeding. For older children, we have installed separate wash basins in the toilets, placed at a comfortable height, and in the VIVO café we have a special children’s menu with nutritious dishes. There are even small playcorners with busyboards. So, while your child is exploring the world in safety and comfort, take a break from the road by tasting delicious dishes from the chef or simply enjoying a coffee.
