The bright day of Christ’s Resurrection strengthens our faith that no matter how dark the night may be, light will certainly break through, and life will win.

Holidays always fill our hearts with special love for our relatives and natives. Today, saying “Christ is Risen!”, joy will enlighten the faces of Ukrainians, but there will be tears in their eyes – not everyone will be able to gather at a cozy family table. In sincere prayers, we will commemorate those thanks to whom we welcome the spring sun and enjoy the fragrant Easter bread – the boys and girls who are defending the country right now, our warriors of light.

And when the church bell rings, each of us will ask the saints to defend those who defend Ukraine, protect everyone who protects us. We believe that heaven hears us, because we are fighting for the truth and justice, we are standing for our own. We seek peace and comfort in every corner of our native land.
